Computer Unable to Recognize Flight Controller

1. Check if the USB cable is dual Type-C. Some branded dual Type-C cables may prevent the computer from recognizing the flight controller. It is recommended to use a Type-C to Type-A cable.

2. If a non-dual Type-C cable is used, some computers require the USB to be plugged into a USB 3.0 port on the host.

3. Please open Mission Planner and follow the steps as shown in the image:

a) Select " AUTO" and click connect, wait for it to search for the COM port.

b) Once a new COM port appears, select it and click Connect.

If you still cannot connect, please try step 4.

4. On Windows 11 computers, the USB driver may be assigned as FC (WinUSB V6.1.7600.16385), and the COM port may not appear in Windows Device Manager. Download the software from http://zadig.akeo.ie and use it to change the driver to "USB Serial (CDC)" for the COM port to appear.
